MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR POLARIZING FILM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a polarizing film causing few color mottles and being useful as a material of a polarizing plate for a liquid crystal display of high quality.

SOLUTION: A heating roll of which the coefficient of the static friction with a polyvinyl alcohol film is 0.1 or below and a stretching roll of which the coefficient of the static friction with the film is 0.2 or above are used on the occasion when the polarizing film is manufactured by stretching the polyvinyl alcohol film by a dry method.
