PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user interface device, a virtual space providing method, and a virtual space providing system capable of providing a real virtual space.

SOLUTION: A user interface device 3 for acquiring the position and advancing direction of a user in a virtual space is provided with a base 31, a mobile sphere 33 held at a predetermined position on the base 31 so as to be rotatable wherein the inner peripheral face or outer peripheral face enables a user to walk and a measuring means 35 for measuring the rotating direction and rotating quantity of the mobile sphere 33 on the base 31 according as the user walks.
