PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely disconnect capacitor elements from an electrical circuit in an abnormal state where dielectric breakdowns are generated continuously. SOLUTION: There are provided a container 9 for containing capacitor elements 11 connected to an electrical circuit, a board 1 attached on the inner wall of the container 9, a conductor 2 provided in the board 1 to connect the capacitors 11 in a separable manner, an elastic body 3 for energizing the conductor 2 in the disconnecting direction, a stopper 4 engaging with the conductor 2 to position the conductor 2 in a connected state, and a stopper-releasing mechanism 5 for enabling engaging state of the stopper 4 to be released. When the engaging state of the stopper 4 is released, since a rod-like conductor 2 moves by means of the elastic body 3 to make a connecting portion 6 nonconductive, the capacitors can be disconnected from the electrical circuit. Further, even if the container 9 contracts to the same state as in the abnormal state through cooling of the capacitors or the like, the conductor 2 will not return to the connecting position, thus preventing its reclosing of the electrical circuit.
