PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily connect or disconnect large-sized housings with each other. SOLUTION: When an insertion housing 4 is released from a receiving housing 5, a locking hook 3d of an operating shaft 3b of the insertion housing 4 rotates so as to be locked to the free end of the lower part arm 7a and pulls up the insertion housing 4. This pull-up force acts as a clockwise moment in the surrounding of a pressurizing lever 7 and the receiving housing 5 moves upward following the insertion housing 4 in a holding housing 6 against the friction between the outward protrusion 7f of the pressurizing lever 7 and the slope 34b of an outside guide groove 34. The pull-up force by the operating shaft 3b acts so as to rotate clockwise the pressurizing lever 7 in the surrounding of a pivoting member 8 mainly against the bonding force of the connection terminal 1a and a connection terminal 28a. Then, a separating protrusion 7h generates a minute force to separate upward the insertion housing 4 from the receiving housing 5 by an action of levers with the fulcrum 25 of the receiving housing 5 as a fulcrum.
