PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC high-voltage power supply unit capable of obtaining high direct current and high voltage without increasing the size of the power supply unit. SOLUTION: This power supply unit includes a cockcroft circuit 13 having multi-stage series connection made by combining capacitor units 22 with rectifying device units 21, one end of which is driven with secondary windings 20a, 20b of a transformer, and fetching DC high voltage from an opposite end. Inductors 17a, 17b wound with a coil 31 around a cylindrical insulator 30 are connected with part of the circuit.
