PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding method for an annular rubbery elastic member capable of molding a seamless annular rubber member uniform in wall thickness on the periphery thereof and having no stepped part, and a die device equipped with a thickness adjusting auxiliary die used in the molding method. SOLUTION: A liftable thickness adjusting auxiliary die 5 for adjusting the wall thickness of a annular member Wa through a clamping member 4 such as a bolt or the like is detachably attached to the side surface 3 on the supply side of a rubbery elastic material of the die device 2. The thickness adjusting auxilary die 5 can be formed of the same material as the die device 2 or other material. An arcuate curved surface is provided to the leading end 5a on the side of an annular reference member Q and the rear end side 5b for molding the annular member Wa is formed into the inclined surface mactched with the cross-sectional shape of the annular member Wa.
