PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas supplier with which dried additional gas is moistened and then supplied to a patient. SOLUTION: This gas supplier 2 is to supply the dried additional gas to breathing gas in a ventilator system 4 and is equipped with pipe systems 10, 12, 14 connectable with a patient by the distal end parts and a supply tube 22 connectable with the pipe systems to supply the gas to the distal end parts of the pipe systems 10, 12, 14. The supply tube 22 has a tube section 22 with a moisture permeable contact face. The tube section is connected so as to be in contact with moisture in exhalation. The dried additional gas is moistened before being supplied to the distal end parts of the pipe systems 10, 12, 14. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
