PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase convenience by expanding a cooking work area without causing interference in cooking work by use of a cooking appliance in a kitchen cabinet and dishing-up work in the cooking work area. SOLUTION: The cooking appliance (1) is arranged at a right or left upper end, and a top surface of a counter (3) beside the cooking appliance functions as the cooking work area (4), and right under the cooking appliance, two sub-counters (6)(7) are arranged side-by-side between a kitchen cabinet end on the side where the cooking machine is arranged and an end of the cooking appliance side close to the cooking work area so that they can be easily drawn forward and put in, and the sub-counters have different width, wide and narrow, and the wider sub-counter (6) is located near the cooking work area, and the width is made almost equal to the width across the shoulders of a human.
