PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-channel endoscope for easily and safely performing endoscopic treatment at all times by optimally setting the relationship between two treatment devices in terms of position and direction, for each case. SOLUTION: A first treatment-device channel 11 is positioned inside flexible insertion parts 1, 2, 3 and a first treatment-device projection hole 11a serving as the exit opening of the first treatment-device channel 11 is positioned in the vicinity of the tip 3 of the insertion parts 1, 2, 3. A second treatment-device channel 12 is positioned in a flexible cylindrical adapter 20 that can be freely removably attached to the insertion parts 1, 2, 3 while varying direction in a circumferential direction if needed. An arbiturary bending part 13 which can be bent by remote control from the operator side of the endoscope is provided in the vicinity of the tip of the second treatment-device channel 12. A second treatment-device projection hole 12a serving as the exit opening of the second treatment-device channel 12 is positioned at the tip of the bending part 13. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
