<p>An article of clothing (1, 10) comprising a main body (2, 12) and at least one end portion such as a sleeve or a leg (9, 19), wherein the end portion (9, 19) is removably detachable from the main body of the article of clothing. The invention prevents a worker or machine operator from sustaining an injury as a result of a portion of their clothing being caught in the machine by causing the end portion (9, 19) to be torn away from the main body (2, 12). The end positions (9, 19) may be attached to the main body (2, 12) by hook and loop fasteners (8, 18) or a weakened zone may be created in the clothing by chemical means.</p> |
