[Also in Division F2] A fastener formed from plastics or hard rubber comprises an imperforate head 12, a shank 14, and resilient arms 22 extending from the shank to present shoulders 24 spaced from the head. The shank has a screw receiving bore 23 extending from the tip, and a lateral bore (18), Fig. 2 not shown, intersecting the bore 23. The arms 22 are disposed in the bore (18) and connected to the shank at their ends opposite the shoulders 24, the bore 23 may be plain or screw threaded. The shank may be of circular or polygonal cross-section. |
