<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor in which the volume of the code of image data picked up with different imaging magnifications can be reduced efficiently without missing a frame. <P>SOLUTION: In the image processor for encoding a first image picked up at a specified imaging magnification and a second image picked up at a higher imaging magnification, a background image generating section 112 generates a second background image from a first background image generated at an image generating section 111 and a first object image generated at an object extracting section 113, and an object extracting section 114 generates a second object image.
