<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a merchandise selling support system for making it easy for a user riding in a traveling object to use without spending much costs. <P>SOLUTION: In this merchandise selling support system configured of a plurality of merchandise selling places and a service providing server 100 for managing the inventory of the merchandise of the merchandise selling places, a user terminal 300 carried by a user riding in a traveling object transmits its location information and merchandise order information to the service providing server, and the service providing server specifies a train based on the location information, and specifies the merchandise selling place which is the most proper to the user and the merchandise selling place based on the specified train and the merchandise order information.
