<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarizing film that has less color spots, excels in dimensional stability, and is useful as a material for manufacturing a polarizing film for high quality liquid crystal display. <P>SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing the polarizing film is characterized in that a polyvinyl alcohol film with a thickness of 10-50 μm is stretched by a tensile force of 1,000 N/m or below. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
