<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolyte that exists steadily in the battery as gel and is superior in cycle characteristics, and a lithium secondary battery having this electrolyte. <P>SOLUTION: The electrolyte is expressed by a structural formula as shown in a formula (1) and/or a formula (2). The electrolyte is formed by using an electrolyte material in which an aziridine compound having three or more aziridine rings and an organic electrolytic solution made by dissolving lithium salt in an aprotic solvent are at least mixed.
