<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate refractory for sliding nozzles having sufficient durability to special steel like high-oxygen steel. <P>SOLUTION: The plate refractory for sliding nozzles has a chemical composition comprising 0.05-10 mass ratio of boron nitride and metal aluminum, 1-15 mass% of the total amount of boron nitride and metal aluminum, ≤5 mass% of carbon, ≥65 mass% of alumina, and 0-15 mass% of other components, and is characterized by being heat treated at 200-750 °C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
