PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the remanent magnetism of a cylindrical object to be inspected with a strong coercive force to be 0.5 mili-tesla or lower by means of a distance attenuation method. SOLUTION: Two alternating-current through type demagnetizing coils are arranged in a V-shape, and the remanent magnetism of the cylindrical object to be inspected with a strong coercive force can be made 0.5 mili tesla or lower, by the distance attenuation method making the object to be inspected pass through.
