PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove cooked food from a grill grate without breaking the food into pieces. SOLUTION: A flat lifting surface 8a and a grip 8b used as a handle part connected by a connecting surface 8c constitute a fork-shaped removing utensil. A plurality of slits 8d provided at the same intervals P as the intervals P of grate bars 2b of the grill grate 2 form a teeth part 8e between the slits 8d on the end side of the lifting surface 8a. The lifting surface 8a is placed under the cooked food F such as fish or the like by inserting the teeth part 8e between the grate bars 2b, and the fork-shaped removing utensil 8 lifts the cooked food F from the underside with the lifting surface 8a and removes the cooked food F. At the time, since the cooked food F is lifted by a surface (the lifting surface 8a), force is applied evenly to all over the cooked food F, and the cooked food is removed from the grate bars 2b without breaking the food into pieces even if cooking causes the cooked food F to stick to the grate bars 2b.
