PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reproduction data signal generating apparatus for reproducing reproduction data signals more accurately corresponding to a pattern from a signal corresponding to a reception signal that can take various patterns. SOLUTION: The apparatus for generating reproduction data signals comprises a plurality of signal binarization units (110, 120) for performing compensation to offset variations in the input signal by each different method and binarizing the input signal for outputting the binarized signals, and a signal preparation output unit (150) for selectively outputting reproduction data signals being prepared from one of the binarized signals from the plurality of signal binarization units (110, 120) based on specific control information.
