SURFACE TREATMENT SYSTEM FOR FOIL AND NARROW STRIP MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface treatment system for a foil and narrow strip material which can apply the surface treatment continuously on the strip material of the order of several microns to scores of microns in thickness. SOLUTION: The system comprises a first cleaning apparatus for rinsing the strip surface by spraying a treatment solution, a plating apparatus to continuously plate the bottom side of the strip by partially immersing it in a plating solution in a main cell containing the plating solution, a second cleaning apparatus which rinses the plating solution out of the strip surface by spraying the treatment solution while transferring the strip through rollers in the treatment tank, a coating treatment apparatus to apply coating by contacting different coating rollers respectively on each top and bottom surface of the strip after the surface treatment, and a dryer which dries the strip surface by blowing hot air on it and concurrently can control the temperature of the roller surfaces so that it can execute the surface treatment continuously on the strip of the order of several microns to several scores of microns in thickness.
