PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting mutation of a specimen or mismatch with a probe by a probe carrier exemplified by a DNA microarray by which the mutation or the mismatch is detected even if the number of the mutation or the mismatch sites is small. SOLUTION: The detection of the mismatch site is made possible by using a nucleotide having a label for decorating the mismatch site derived from mutation or the like present between a probe DNA and a specimen DNA.
