PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a 2'-deoxyguanosine salt derivative alternative to a crystal water-containing 2'-deoxyguanosine having been problematic in producing pharmaceutical preparations so far, and to provide a method for producing the derivative. SOLUTION: The stable 2'-deoxyguanosine salt derivative free of crystal water is produced by converting the corresponding 2'-deoxyguanosine derivative into its salt with a pyridine derivative. Since the 2'-deoxyguanosine salt derivative contains no crystal water and is stable, the production of an pharmaceutical intermediate using the derivative accomplishes reduction of the production cost, improvement of the product quality and reduction of industrial wastes, etc. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
