Process for dyeing and printing fibre materials

Dyeing compositions contain a mixture A consisting of (1) a 5-imino-pyrrolenine suitable for the production of metal-containing tetraazaporphyrines on the fibre and (2) a metal compound required for the formation of the metal-containing dyestuff and a mixture B consisting of approximately equivalent parts of (1) a neutrally splittable stabilised diazo compound which contains a lower (C1-C4) alkoxy radical in the radical of the diazo component in the o-position to the diazonium group and (2) an ice colour coupling component. Fibre materials to be dyed are treated with dye baths or printing pastes containing the above compositions and are then subjected to a dry heat or to steam to develop the dye. Diazo-amino compounds are particularly used as stabilised diazo components.
