<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a booster cable with DC-DC converter, capable of supplying electric power bidirectionally regardless of a relation to terminal-to-terminal voltage by connecting batteries with each other. <P>SOLUTION: A high-voltage side cable 4 is connected to a 36[V] battery and a low-voltage side cable 7 is connected to a 12[V] battery respectively. In supplying power from the 36[V] battery to the 12[V] battery, by selecting an energizing direction change-over switch 15, 36[V] is converted to 12[V] by the switching of a switching device 10a, counter electromotive force of an inductance 12, and the rectification of a parasitic diode 11b. In the case of supplying power in a reverse way to it, 12[V] is converted to 36[V] by the switching of a switching device 10b, counter electromotive force of the inductance 12, and the rectification of a parasitic diode 11a. In the case of use of batteries with the same voltage, a short circuit is made between the batteries by a bypass switch 16 before use. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
