<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery without generating a dendrite excellent in productivity. <P>SOLUTION: This nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery is manufactured by impregnating a nonaqueous electrolyte in a power generation element composed by winding a negative electrode and a positive electrode each containing a carbon material capable of storing and releasing lithium ions by interlaying a separator. When it is charged for the first time, current density between the positive electrode and the negative electrode is set to 1 mA/cm<SP>2</SP>or below until a predetermined period elapses from the start of charging, and increased after the predetermined period elapses (after the electrolyte is sufficiently impregnated into the separator). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
