<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer that attains improved confidentiality by preventing print data including confidential contents from being erroneously outputted. <P>SOLUTION: When the print data is inputted from a print data inputting part 14 and instructed to be printed, the printer 1 converts the inputted print data into text data, determines whether the print data includes a preregistered inhibition character string, reconfirms a user as to whether to print the print data when the print data includes the inhibition character string, and does not print the print data until the user inputs a printing instruction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
