<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical phase detection apparatus capable of detecting an inter-bit phase state of a carrier of a modulation optical signal, an optical phase control apparatus for controlling a carrier phase on the basis of phase detection information of the carrier, and an optical transmission apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The optical phase detection apparatus related to this invention in order to solve the tasks above and for detecting the inter-bit phase difference of the carrier of the modulation signal light is characterized in by including: a phase difference provisioning means that divides the modulation signal light into at least two, provides a prescribed phase difference to the first branched modulation signal light and the second modulation signal light and composes the results; and a phase difference detection means for detecting the inter-bit phase difference of the carrier of the modulation signal light on the basis of the luminous intensity of the output as a result of the composition by the phase difference provisioning means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
