<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spherical coloring particle excellent in light-resistance and environmental stability such as weather-resistance or the like, and to provide its producing method. <P>SOLUTION: The coloring particle is a spherical particle composed of an inorganic oxide or its hydroxide which substantially does not have absorption in the visible light region, a photo-setting resin or a thermosetting resin, and a coloring component, and the coloring component has a particle diameter of 0.1-50 μm. The producing method of the coloring particle comprises the steps of: (1) adding a mixed solution of the coloring component dissolved or dispersed in a solvent with the inorganic oxide to an oil phase containing the photo-setting resin or the thermosetting resin; (2) injecting the solution obtained in step (1) into an aqueous phase through a micropore to form an O/W emulsion; and (3) setting up the resin component in the oil phase by ultraviolet irradiation or heat treatment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
