<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multifunction machine capable of realizing further energy saving according to usage modes of a user by cutting off power to be supplied to circuits of causes of return which are not desired by the user at the time of power saving. <P>SOLUTION: A digital multifunction machine is actuated by supplying power to all devices according to some causes of return from a state in which a part of circuits are supplied with power. The machine is provided with power cutting-off means 21 which are provided for each of returning cause sensing means 5, 6, 7; a storage means 14 which stores power supply prohibiting information associated with each of the means 5, 6, 7; a means 1 for inputting the power supply prohibiting information; and a main control means 4 which perform control so as to cut off the power of the means 5, 6, 7 at the time of power saving. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
