<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal transmission system which prevents a high-voltage power unit from malfunctioning by suppressing the member cost for high voltage generation by the high-voltage power unit of an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The side of an engine control circuit 10 is equipped with a means of generating a 1st alternating control input signal (AC input signal B) and a 2nd alternating control input signal (DC voltage control signal A) which are different in frequency and a mixing means (composite unit 11) of mixing the two alternating control input signals of different frequencies that the said means generates and one transmission line transmits the mixed signals outputted by the mixing means to the high-voltage power unit; and the side of the high-voltage power unit 20 is equipped with an alternating signal separating and restoring means (first low-pass filter 21 and high-pass filter 24) of separating the mixed signals transmitted through the one transmission line and restoring them to the frequencies of the first alternating control input signal and second alternating control input signal respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
