<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for inexpensively reducing the fuel consumption and an exhaust gas by releasing minus ion of high concentration into a cylinder, a sub-muffler or a muffler, and simplifying the reduction of fuel consumption and exhaust gas by high combustion characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: This system comprises a microcomputer 1 for oscillating a high pulse signal of 40 kilo-pulses or more, an igniter 3 composed of a anti-locking circuit 3B, a constant current control circuit 3C, a monitor circuit 3D and a power transistor 3E, and an ignition coil 4 outputting minus high voltage DC pulses having the voltage of 3000V or more and the number of pulses of 40 kilo-pulses. The minus ion of high concentration is released into an intake manifold or a cylinder, or the sub-muffler or the muffler by minus high voltage DC pulses to achieve high combustion characteristics, the decomposition and elimination of a gas component in a combustion gas, and the dust-collection and elimination of fine particles. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
