PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inner cable that can be bent with a small radius of curvature and manufactured easily without deteriorating buckling strength, load efficiency, and sliding resistance, as compared with the conventional control cable. SOLUTION: The inner cable comprises: a core 2 consisting of a core wire 4 and six side strands 5 being stranded without providing any intervals in a specific direction around the core wire 4; and an outer layer 3 made of a synthetic resin that covers the core 2 and has ten protrusions 6 at an equal interval being extended straightly in an axial direction at the outer periphery.
