PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin composition which is excellent in fluidity and heat resistance and has flame retardancy as well. SOLUTION: The resin composition comprises (A) styrene resin (component A), (B) a polyphenylene ether resin (component B), and (C) a specified organophosphorus compound (component C), (desirably, 2,4,8,10-tetraoxa-3,9-diphosphaspiro[5.5]undecane-3,9-di(2-phenylethyl)- 3,9-dioxide compound).
