PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phosphor which has high luminance and exhibits high emission intensity, particularly when a fluorescent layer is formed. SOLUTION: The phosphor is fine particles having a ratio of the shortest diameter of phosphor particles to the longest diameter of 1.5-5.0.
