PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a smoking device which can be set even in a small space, enabling smoking by cold smoking as well as warm smoking or heating smoking in all seasons, making it possible for a user to easily get and enjoy very tasty smoked products by the cold smoking even at home. SOLUTION: The smoking device has such a structure that a smoking material 4 is put at the longitudinally front side in a smoking chamber 2, the chamber 2 is arranged behind and above the position of the smoking material 4. According to the structure of the smoking device, smoke 5 from the smoking material 4 is led to the smoking chamber 2 after flowing backward, and a cooling tank 15 having a depth from the part above the smoking material 4 to the bottom part of the smoking chamber 2 and capable of storing cooling media 23, 24 and 25, is arranged above the smoking material 4.
