PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a player to play music with rich expression when playing music with a small number of sounds.

SOLUTION: A prescribed resonant sound for a sound of which the production is indicated by key depression is generated by using an idle DCO 21b and is produced together with the sound of which the production is indicated by key depression, so that spread can be given to the sound produced by key depression to enable the player to play an electronic musical instrument with rich expression of an acoustic piano or the like even when playing with a small number of sounds.
