PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor mounting structure mounting a sensor without damaging a sensor assembly and precisely positioning a sensor body in a targeted position. SOLUTION: A bracket 10 for mounting the sensor assembly 20 is disposed with a sensor retainer part 12 supporting the sensor body 21 in the tip of a rod part 11 and a mounting pedestal part 13 grasping a harness 22 covered with a protection tube 23 is disposed in the rear end of the rod part 11. The sensor retainer part 12 is formed with a groove 121 for inserting the harness 22 connected to the sensor body 21. The mounting pedestal part 13 is halved, openably/closably formed, and formed with an insertion hole 131 for inserting the harness 22 covered with the protection tube 23 in its inside, and when the mounting pedestal part 13 is closed, the protection tube 23 is clamped by a lock claw 133.
