摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phase transition type information recording medium which does not generate noises such as a jitter against a low-power light of short wavelength such as a blue laser, has an excellent O/W (overwrite) property and a good archival property, and permits high-density recording. <P>SOLUTION: The phase transition type information recording medium has at least a first recording configuration layer, a resin intermediate layer, and a second recording configuration layer set up in order on a substrate. The first recording configuration layer consists of a reflective heat sink layer, a first protective layer, a first recording layer, and a second protective layer in order from the substrate side. The second recording configuration layer consists of a buffer layer, an ITO (indium tin oxide), Ag, or Ag alloy layer as a third protective layer, a fourth protective layer, a second recording layer, a fifth protective layer in order from the resin intermediate layer side. The first recording layer and the second recording layer contain at least SbTe, the buffer layer is an oxide, and transmissivity of light of the third protective layer and the buffer layer is 80% or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
