<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate orientation of a face of a three-dimensional body, a three-dimensional shape and a reflective index, and estimate brightness and a direction of an optical source, without being given the brightness and direction of the optical source and orientation of a face and a reflective index of an objective body 101. <P>SOLUTION: By performing repeated calculation of generation principles of body information, optical source information on images, etc. photographed by a camera 102, without necessity to control the optical source, even though there is no known information for the objective body 101, the orientation of the face of the objective body 101, the three-dimensional shape and reflective index, and the brightness and direction of the optical source are acquired. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
