<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus having a facsimile function and its sheet feed control method in which a tray subjected to automatic sheet feed can be set while preventing a trouble generated in the setting. <P>SOLUTION: An operation/display control section 7 accepts the setting of automatic sheet feed when at least facsimile processing is performed, respectively, for a plurality of sheet feed trays managed at a sheet feed section 4. Based on the accepted setting, a system control unit 1 confirms a sheet feed tray capable of sheet feed when facsimile processing is performed.
