<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the authentication of a ticket generated as digital data. <P>SOLUTION: In this ticket authentication system 1, a user can use ticket data with authentication information added thereto in a cellular phone 50 by downloading the ticket data from a content server 40. The ticket data is generated as a program for displaying the content of a benefit set in the ticket data in response to a prescribed input operation.
