<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slip window processing system not placing a burden on operator or customer. <P>SOLUTION: A slip is set to a scanner insertion slot for later input (S51). When an insertion key of the slip is pressed, machine-processing is started (S52). A scanner takes an image of the slip (S53). OCR recognition processing is performed (S54). Printing to the slip is performed (S55). In this case, the slip not readable by the OCR recognition may be rejected. To indicate that the batch slip machine-processing is performed, a "unique form number" is printed to a free space in a lower column of each slip. When the slip is readable and not rejected, the recognition result is also printed on the slip. The printed slip is discharged. In this case, the slip is classified based on the OCR recognition result to be discharged to a stacker (S56).
