<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a partially expanding display function capable of additionally displaying set information requested by a user in a display screen whose size is limited and to improve an external input operation display function. <P>SOLUTION: An information display device is provided with a display means 11 for displaying optional set information D0 on a divided display area aij obtained by dividing a display screen into a plurality of grating-like areas, a storage means 12 for recording the set information D0 in each display item, an operation means 13 to be operated so as to specify a display item and operate request whether the width w0 of each divided display area aij is to be changed or not, and a control device 15 for controlling the input/output of the display means 11 and the storage means 12. The control device 15 displays the set information D0 in the divided display area aij, and when a request for changing the width w0 of the divided display area aij corresponding to the display item concerned is inputted, changes the width w0 so as to reduce the other display areas aij and additionally displays the set information of the item concerned on the display area aij. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
