PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch signal input circuit for a microcomputer for reducing the power consumption and preventing misrecognition of a state of each switch. SOLUTION: The switch signal input circuit is provided with: an O/S handle switch 3 connected to a negative pole of a battery 1 and open / close switched by a user; a PNP transistor 2 connected to a positive terminal of the battery 1, turned on in response to a closing operation of the O/S handle switch 3 and applying a battery voltage to an NPN transistor 5; and the NPN transistor 5 turned on by the battery voltage from the PNP transistor 2 applied in response to the closing operation of the O/S handle switch 3, and applying a switch signal to the microcomputer 20.
