PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circulation type sanitizing water heater capable of acquiring sanitizing, sterilizing and deodorizing effects of hot water by tourmaline particles and ceramic fired balls as well as a water purifying function by removing inconvenience of a conventional water heater having only a water purifying and filtering function. SOLUTION: This circulation type sanitizing water heater 22 is constituted as follows: a ceramic heater 7 is positioned in the middle of a vessel 1 having both open ends; a water feeding pipe 2 having a pump 3 is installed on one end of the vessel 1; a water discharge pipe 4 is installed on the other end thereof; a filter body 21 comprising a sponge 18, a hemp 19, a hemp palm 20 or the like as filter materials is stored in an opening part a little to the water feeding pipe 2 side of the vessel 1; a sanitizing body 16 comprising the tourmaline particles 14 or the ceramic calcined balls 15 is stored on the water discharge pipe 4 side; and both open parts of the vessel 1 are sealed by separate lids 10.
