BENDING VIBRATION INHIBITION METHOD OF RAILWAY VEHICLE BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bending vibration inhibition method of a vehicle body for a rolling stock capable of inhibiting a vertical bending vibration by addition of a relatively simple member to the vehicle body. SOLUTION: Connection members 21, 23, 25, 27 for connecting a roof 11 and a floor 13 are mounted to the vehicle body 10. An upper end of the connection member (stanchion pole) 21 is fixed to the roof 11 at the inside of a cooler frame 12 and a lower end is fixed to the floor 13. This stanchion pole 21 is firmly supported in the stretched state between the roof 11 and the floor 13. Rigidity of the vehicle body 10 is enhanced and an elastic vibration is effectively inhibited by this stanchion pole 21. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
