PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a loading platform canopy of a cargo carrying vehicle for smoothly moving the canopy at an opening and closing supporting part and preventing generation of torsion or the like of the canopy by reducing a weight of the canopy of the loading platform, and improving a sealing function at a closed time. SOLUTION: This loading platform canopy includes top plates 11, 11 with a base end part 11a mounted on a supporting shaft 14 supported by a plurality of supporting brackets 13 on an upper part of a loading platform side board 2a, for opening and closing from side to side in a width direction of the loading platform, and motors 18, 18 provided on both ends of an upper part of the loading platform for rotating and driving the supporting shaft 14. The top plates 11 are divided at least into two in a longitudinal direction of the loading platform, a frame pipe 12 of the top plate 11 is linked by a universal structure joint 19 at a divided linking part, and the supporting shaft is driven by the motors 18, 18 and is opened and closed synchronously.
