PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mirror surface machining method with a diamond blade which eliminates fine adjustment of an incident angle of a tool cutting blade that requires skillness and enables unskilled person to easily carry out mirror surface machining. SOLUTION: The mirror surface machining method carries out mirror surface machining of a material to be machined by using the diamond blade which has a linear main edge and subsequently has an auxiliary circular cutting edge having a width of 1-3 mm and a curvature R of 50-1000 mm. The mirror surface machining is carried out with delivery speed of the diamond blade of 0.0001×curvature R to 0.0006×curvature R (mm/rev). COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
