CLIENT TERMINAL, SOFTWARE CONTROL METHOD, AND CONTROL PROGRAM

In order to prevent an unauthorized copying of software which has been downloaded-purchased, when a computer is sold to a user, device information inherent to the computer and a user ID are acquired. When a user purchases software from a software sales server by using this computer, the user ID, the device information, a software name, and version are acquired. When the user starts the purchased software for the first time, the device information on the started computer, the user ID, the software name, and the version are transmitted to the software sales server so as to be compared to the corresponding information acquired before. When they are matched, a license key to start the purchased software is transmitted to the computer.
