Process and assembly to convert straight spinning cord to wave-form gathered cord by regulation of conveyer belt speed

In a spinning cord compressive gathering process, the cord is surrendered to a conveyer belt at a speed faster than that of the belt and then to a drier. The ratio of incoming cord speed to belt speed creates a wave profile. At the end of the gathering section the cord is released from the wave profile and drawn along a secondary treatment sector. Also claimed is a commensurate assembly with a cord (5) gathering unit (1) and conveyer belt (10) and drier (11). the conveyer belt is advanced by a drive unit (13). The assembly has a cord gathering section (8) followed by a secondary treatment section (9). The length of the gathering section is influenced by the belt (10) drive (13). The cord (5) is drawn through the secondary treatment section (9) by the conveyer belt (10).
